Most scholarships are online applications, but if there is a physical application, we have copies in counseling, just come on in and ask. If you email Ms. Dutton ahead of time she can even have them ready for you to grab in between classes!

You can also search for scholarships on Xello, and at these great websites. If a website ever asks for money, STOP! You should not have to pay money to apply for scholarships.

There are scholarships out there for just about everything! Search for scholarships based on your interests, hobbies, career path, sports, clubs, or life experiences.

FAFSA

The 2026-2027 FASFA in now OPEN!

The FAFSA is the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. Completing it is important, so that you can see the federal funding available to you for college in the form of grants, work studies and loans. The FAFSA gives you your SAI, or student Aid Index, which many scholarships will ask for to determine your financial need. Colleges and career schools use your FAFSA info to determine how much financial aid you are eligible for. Seniors must either complete the FAFSA, or sign a waiver.(Available in the Counseling office) We highly recommend completing the FAFSA even if you aren't completely sure about your post-grad plans, just so you know what options you have for paying for college.

It will take you around one hour (most people complete it in less!) to fill out the FAFSA form. You and your parent/guardian will need to complete it together. You and your parent/guardian will both need verified FAFSA IDs- make sure to register for those ahead of time, as they can take a few days to go through. You can do that here :
