Annalee Thorndike Art Competition

SWANA

Award: $1000 

Graduating high school seniors who have been accepted into an undergraduate program at an accredited institution and who are planning to earn a degree closely tied to Solid Waste Management, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field. John F. Mullen Memorial Scholarship

Deadline: April 1, 2020

Award: up to $2000 

In honor of the late John F. Mullen, this scholarship is available to graduating seniors from Gilford High School, Laconia High School, and Belmont High School, or home-schooled residents of those same towns.  Applicants must also submit a Lakes Region Scholarship Application. League of NH Craftsmen Scholarship

Deadline: April 1, 2020.  

Award: $1000 

This scholarship is awarded to a graduating senior pursuing an education in the field of craft-related studies. Applicants must be a NH resident (or live within 10 miles of the NH border); be planning to enroll in post-secondary education in the field of craft-related studies. Stephen Phillips Memorial Scholarship Fund

Deadline: April 3, 2020 for Early Response or May 1, 2020 for Regular Response.  

Award: Variable

This fund offers renewable, four-year scholarships to students with financial need who display academic achievement, a commitment to serving others, a consistent history of part-time work, grit and passion for overcoming obstacles and/or achieving future goals, and leadership qualities. John Alger Memorial Scholarship Program

Deadline: April 30, 2020 

Award: $1,000

The New Hampshire Society of Professional Engineers (NHSPE) annually sponsors a competitive merit and need based scholarship program that awards a minimum of $1,000. The scholarship is intended to provide financial assistance to students (NH residents) who are already or will be attending an ABET-EAC accredited college or university for studies in the field of engineering. Hope Starts Here Scholarship - NH Coalition to End Homelessness

Applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements: be under the age of 21 prior to the application due date; be residing in NH at the time of applying for the scholarship; be actively pursuing post-secondary education; must have experienced homelessness at some point during their school career. New Hampshire Gay Men’s Chorus

American Legion John A High Child Welfare Scholarship

Candidates for this award shall be boys whose father or mother have been members of the American Legion or American Legion Auxillary continuously for three (3) years immediately preceding the date of application; or are the sons of a deceased veteran; AND who are in their senior year in high school and are in actual need of financial assistance.
